Keith Haring's work was very comical where he used bold lines and vivid colours in his pop art, which I feel was also a fun and colourful way to bring in light certain issues or norms of the world around us if not to just express his own views of the world.
I like this drawing as you can just see the joy in the person who is 'coming out' with the perfect use of colour and lines.
Here the bottle is drawn large and the people small, all wrapped around the beverage almost as if they are praising it.
Some pieces were very simple to read where as others were quite complicated and made the observer contemplate the art. He entwined many images into one, with a face coming out of somewhere, someone going through another person's body, with something growing out of another, all a huge complex picture but very exciting to see.
This picture I feel shows that death will get us all. The heart is broken, which could either mean that death was caused from a broken heart, or the simple fact that when you die your heart 'breaks' and therefore can function no more. The snakes are on either side of the skull about to bite the skull and people with it's vicious bite, which I think is either showing how certain unkind people can bring a person down to their grave, or even what will happen to our bodies once we're in our graves.
Rihanna, a world renowned artist too used Keith's art in one of her music videos.
